Rodolfo Landim
Mr. Landim has a bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ), with postgraduate studies in Administration (PMD) at Harvard University (USA) and a specialization course in Petroleum Engineering at the University of Alberta (Canada). He spent 26 years at Petrobras, initially as a Production Engineer, and subsequently as General E&P Manager in different districts, including the Sergipe-Alagoas and Campos Basins. He also acted as Managing Director of Natural Gas in Rio de Janeiro, in addition to other executive positions including CEO of the subsidiaries Gaspetro and Petrobras Distribuidora. After this, he moved into the private sector and became one of the co-founders and CEO of OGX Petróleo e Gás and OSX Brasil. Mr. Landim has also been a member of the Board of Directors of Smith International, Wellstream and Cameron Corporation. He is co-founder and controlling shareholder of Ouro Preto Óleo e Gás and a Managing Partner of Mare Investimentos
Demian Fiocca
Managing Partner
Mr. Fiocca has held many positions of leadership at various financial institutions and large companies, in both the public and private sectors. From 2004 to 2006, he served as vice-president of the Brazilian Development Bank (BNDES), where he was responsible for the Infrastructure and Oil & Gas departments, among other responsibilities. He was appointed CEO of the BNDES in March of 2006.
By 2007, Mr. Fiocca transitioned back into private sector as an executive board member at Vale, where he was responsible for: governance, strategic planning, IT and sustainability, among others responsabilities. He left Vale to serve as interim-CEO of Banco Nossa Caixa, where he led the merger of the bank of the state of São Paulo with Banco do Brasil.
Mr. Demian Fiocca holds a bachelor's degree in Economics from the Economics and Business Administration School (FEA) at the University of São Paulo (USP), where he also defended his master's dissertation.
Nelson Guitti
Managing Partner
Mr. Guitti is an engineer with extensive experience in senior executive positions at Petrobras. He worked for the state owned oil company for 24 years, 15 years of which he worked on the Campos Basin that represents 80%+ of Brazil’s total national oil production. Mr. Guitti served as the strategic planning director for natural gas at Gaspetro and as Chief Financial & Services Officer at BR Petrobras Distribuidora.
In 2007, he became Chief Financial Officer and Investor Relations Officer of MMX. Upon leaving the company, he partnered with Claudio Coutinho to found Mare Investimentos.
Mr. Nelson Guitti holds a bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ), a post-graduate degree in Petroleum Engineering from Universidade Petrobras and an Executive MBA from the Economics and Business Administration School (COPPEAD) at the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ).
Leonardo Ugatti Peres
Leonardo Ugatti Peres is a founding partner of Azeredo Santos & Ugatti Peres - Sociedade de Advogados (A&P Advogados).
Leonardo has experience in the corporate area, focusing on mergers and acquisitions (M&A), corporate restructuring and legal advice in corporate law. He also acts in capital markets, including in the constitution and monitoring of mutual/investment funds, structuring/organization of public offerings of securities, and legal advice in capital markets. Leonardo also works with managers and financial institutions in the analysis of transactions in light of CVM’s (Brazilian Securities and Exchange Commission) rules.
Leonardo has experience advising startups and scale ups, including the drafting of contracts, assistance in fund raising, rounds of sale of relevant stakes and/or control.
Leonardo holds a law degree from Universidade Federal Fluminense (UFF) and an LL.M. in Corporate Law from Instituto Brasileiro de Mercedo de Capitais (IBMEC-RJ). Leonardo has an extension course in Accounting for Lawyers from the Instituto de Pesquisa e Estudos Contábeis (IPEC-RJ) and Data Protection Officer from Fundação Getúlio Vargas (FGV).
