Demian Fiocca

Mr. Fiocca has held many positions of leadership at various financial institutions and large companies, in both the public and private sectors. From 2004 to 2006, he served as vice-president of the Brazilian Development Bank (BNDES), where he was responsible for the Infrastructure and Oil & Gas departments, among other responsibilities. He was appointed CEO of the BNDES in March of 2006.
By 2007, Mr. Fiocca transitioned back into private sector as an executive board member at Vale, where he was responsible for: governance, strategic planning, IT and sustainability, among others responsabilities. He left Vale to serve as interim-CEO of Banco Nossa Caixa, where he led the merger of the bank of the state of São Paulo with Banco do Brasil.
Mr. Demian Fiocca holds a bachelor's degree in Economics from the Economics and Business Administration School (FEA) at the University of São Paulo (USP), where he also defended his master's dissertation.
